Currently in Minnesota and we just finished filming (a portion of) a beautiful documentary on the relationship between humans and horses. Here's a few snaps from the shoot!
After wrapping Soldiers' Heart, myself and Caravan West Productions went straight onto another feature film called Outsider. I had a lot of fun working with the stunt team, creating the costume design, and wrangling horses. This was also special as though we shot at a few locations our town scenes were filmed at the iconic Paramount Ranch western town. We were the last production to film there before the tragic fire hit, destroying everything but the church.

This fall I had the pleasure of working on a western film with a wonderful cast and crew. We spent three weeks filming just outside of Los Angeles. You'll find me acting and stunt doubling in this film. It is currently in post-production but I can't wait for you to see it!

This year I wanted to try something new and different. So, I settled on champagne cake with strawberry cream cheese frosting .. and it was amazing! Delicious, decadent and a great way to make cake an adult treat!
To make this yummy cake:
Use a white cake mix and replace liquid (water/milk) with champagne!
For the frosting I made a simple cream cheese frosting using honey instead of sugar. I also used fresh strawberry puree to sweeten and add the light pink color.
I topped it with strawberry halves and edible flowers!
This is probably my favorite snack. It's easy and healthy! Just cut the avocado in half and pour your favorite hotsauce in the middle!
I tend to get bored with going to the gym or just don't have the time. I love squeezing workouts into my day wherever I can. Here's a few of my favorites that are easy to do on the go or at home.
- Arm circles
Stand with arms straight out and do 10 circles forward and backwards. Do small, medium, and large circles.
Stand with feet shoulder width apart. Bend at knees to almost a sitting position. Make sure to keep your knees behind your toes!
- Calf raises
Stand with feet 1-3" apart. Lift heel, lower back to ground, repeat.
*Use cans of soup or water bottles as weights while doing any of these!
Staying in shape keeps me mentally in tune and physically ready for work and life.
I had an incredible evening out this week at the Samsung GalaxyS6 event with the amazing Alexandra Boylan. Not only did I get to see some friends and enjoy great entertainment but I also got to play with all the new Samsung devices!
